Erin began her meditation journey at the age of seventeen, learning transcendental meditation from Tim Brown.Her absolute immersion into silence was a turning point and lead to many years of travelling through India and to the teachings of Ramana Maharishi.Since then, sitting with esteemed Satsang teachers Gangagji, Mooji and Isaac Shapiro lead to a grounding in her personal life and now married, with two young children, Erin feels drawn to offer her experience to those wishing to experience meditation for the first time.Trained in yoga therapy with Nikola Ellis at Adore Yoga, and Aura Soma colour therapy from the international school of ASIACT, she brings many healing modalities to her sessions and empowers others to choose wellness on all levels of their being. .

"I am a 44 year old male and was employed as a pastry chef. Back in September of 2013 I had a serious accident at work. The injury resulted in severe nerve damage to my neck, shoulder and hands with a partial amputation of my middle finger, also my abdominal muscles separated and I sustained an umbilical hernia. Undergoing surgery to my hands, shoulder and stomach. I have gone through some major emotional and physical stress due to this accident.Even though I consider myself to be reasonably strong both physically and mentally, the toll that this situation put on me, and the stress of ongoing operations was really showing. Lack of sleep, restlessness, shortness of breath, headaches were a few of the symptoms that were permeating through me. This is where the services and expertise of Erin (Emerge Yoga) have played a pivotal part in helping me through this ordeal. I met with Erin a week before one of my operations. She spoke to me about the benefits of deep breathing techniques and meditation, and she clearly and confidently explained how we could use and learn these techniques to influence the involuntary parts of our body to facilitate positive change, and bring your nervous system back into balance.Putting theory into practice, Erin calmly evaluated my specific needs, fitness level, and preferences. She asked me to practice some specific relaxation techniques and she clearly understood what was resonating with me and continued with tools that would elicit positive responses from me. At the end of the time with her, learning these techniques, I was calm, focused and mentally active. I slept that night better than I had done for months. Following the initial consultation, I met up with Erin, a day before the operation. We went through a more intense session of breathing and meditation, as my anxiety was high. The relaxation program put the brakes on my heightened state of stress and brought my body and mind back into a state of equilibrium. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone.
